Avoid Taupō town traffic
Don't need to visit the town centre? Want a quick way to get to the beach? No worries! Avoid the traffic, with these handy routes.
From the north:
- At the roundabout turn left onto Spa Road
- Turn right at the lights onto Tītīraupenga Street
- Turn left onto Lake Terrace.
From the south:
- When coming from the south on Lake Terrace, turn right onto Tītīraupenga Street
- Continue to the lights and turn left onto Spa Road
- At the roundabout, turn right to cross Control Gates Bridge.
