Don't miss Class Effort 2014 at Taupo Museum

Paintings, sculpture and mixed media work by some of the district's young artists will be on display during June as part of the Class Effort 2014 exhibition at Taupo Museum.

A range of bright and colourful artworks by primary, Intermediate and preschool aged children have been provided for Class Effort. The annual exhibition is a great opportunity to acknowledge the wide variety of excellent artwork that is produced in our classrooms, preschools and kindergartens.

Previous Class Effort exhibitions have been popular with international visitors to the museum who enjoy the chance to view local culture through the eyes of children.

The museum will hold a special opening celebration for the young artists and their families on Saturday, June 7 at 10.30am.

Class Effort 2014 is showing in the main gallery from June 7 to 23. Taupo Museum is open daily from 10am until 4.30pm and entry is free to locals and all children.
