Scrub clearing at Wharewaka

The scrub covers a bank that runs alongside Wharewaka Road opposite Summerset retirement village.

It includes broom, box thorn and other noxious plants and is being chipped and discarded by our arborist team.

The work will be carried out over the next few weeks and covers an area of about 1200 square metres. It will be replanted with natives in autumn.
