Summer reading challenge

The Taupō District Libraries Summer Reading Challenge is back for the school holidays and this year it’s all about being a legend and reading!

Keep your kids’ reading levels up over summer - they read what they want and can challenge themselves to complete 12 reading and activity challenges during the holidays.

The programme is open to children aged 5 to 12 years who are either Taupō District residents or are the children of non-resident Taupō District ratepayers. We’ve got some awesome prizes to give away this year too!

Taupō registrations are 29 November to 3 December from 3.30pm to 5pm or via email taupolibrary@taupo.govt.nz during that week.

Mangakino registrations are open on 2 December from 12.30pm to 4pm or via email taupolibrary@taupo.govt.nz all week.
Registrations open for Tūrangi on 15 November to 3 December.
Challenge commences on 6 December!
