New Deputy Chair for Tongariro Representative Group

Mr Fletcher, who is also a Taupō District Councillor, was elected at the Representative Group meeting on Wednesday, 17 May, and said he was excited by the prospect of working closely with the community in the future.
Chairperson Sandra Greenslade welcomed Mr Fletcher to the role and said the Representative Group was looking forward to engaging more closely with the southern lake settlements.
“Meetings are held every two months," Mrs Greenslade said. "Just like the Tūrangi Tongariro Community Board, the public are welcome to attend and there is a public forum at the beginning for anyone who wishes to speak."
