Fees and charges
Fees apply for new registrations, renewal of registrations and verifications of your food business.
- Registration fees. Businesses using a food control plan currently have to renew their registration each year and those using a national programme every two years.
- Verification fees. This fee is based on the amount of time spent at your premises for the verification along with related administration and reporting time. The fees will vary for each food business and act as an effective incentive to keep your businesses clean, compliant and registered. This means some businesses with regular compliance issues are more likely to face higher costs than those who are compliant.
