Our stormwater infrastructure is designed to safely drain rain away from where we live, work and play.
Stormwater refers to the water – mostly rain water – that runs off surfaces such as roads, driveways, footpaths and rooftops. The water travels down gutters into our stormwater system, including retention ponds, soak holes and dams and in most cases will soak into the ground.
