Road works and closures
Link Road, which runs between Oruanui Road and State Highway 1, will be extensively reconstructed and resealed in the coming months.
In addition to the roadworks, we will also be trimming trees, carrying out drainage works, and reshaping selected driveways.
To keep everyone safe and speed up construction, Link Road will be closed to through traffic between the hours of 7am to 7pm from 30 October to 13 December 2024, then again from 6 January to March 2025. The road will reopen overnight from Monday to Friday, from 7pm to 7am. There may be occasional work on Saturdays.
Link Road will remain open at all times to residents and the school bus, and for anyone wanting to get to businesses on Link Road, including Lilliput Farm.
