Community partnerships

Working together to achieve common goals

We have great plans for places, spaces, and activities throughout the Taupō District. These plans will make sure the district continues to be an awesome place for current and future generations to live in and visit.

We know that these plans come with a price tag, which is usually picked up by our ratepayers. We also know and believe in the difference that local companies make in our communities. We have common goals, and we have an opportunity to work together to achieve them.

Our focus is on building strong partnerships and thinking laterally about how we can continue to deliver outstanding places, spaces and activities without passing full costs through to our communities. We need your help to provide support and in return can help to elevate your company’s visibility.

It’s all about locals supporting locals and being a district of connected communities that thrive and embrace opportunities. So, if you’re interested in taking your impact to the next level and supporting your local community, this is your chance!

Partnership opportunities

We’re seeking partnerships for the following activities:

Locky Dock Bike Locks

Help us to become the most pedestrian and cycle friendly place in New Zealand. Encourage people to cycle into town and make sure they have somewhere safe and secure to lock and/or charge their bike or scooter.

Mangakino Community Pool

Make a splash by supporting the Mangakino Community pool at no cost for the community, to learn valuable life skills and to have fun!
