Tuesday 20 May, 10am – 2.30pm, Taupō Central location.
This workshop facilitated by Exult is designed to help community and not-for-profit groups and organisations develop a funding strategy and sustainable funding plan. You’ll leave with practical and actionable ideas to develop opportunities that are ‘best fit’ for your organisation.
In this workshop you will discover:
- The difference between a funding strategy and a funding plan, and how they work together.
- The essential first step in creating a Sustainable Funding Plan, and the importance of laying the right foundations
- The 7 Key Income Streams for Non-Profit Organisations, recognising opportunities and making the most of them
- The difference between donations, sponsorship, and grants, and how to approach each in the right way.
- Why traditional fundraising activities are still an important part of the mix and how to make them worth your while.
- How to develop a sustainable funding plan so you can stop scrambling for cash.
You will have the chance to explore various income streams, and what combination of those will work best in creating a sustainable plan for your organisation. It may be different than you think!
These workshops are facilitated by Exult and coordinated by
Taupō District Council’s Community Engagement and Development team.
Spaces are limited. Register before Tuesday 13 May.
