Attention Wairakei residents

There has been a mains break which has affected our ability to supply water to the village.

Contractors are working on rectifying the situation now, however, it may be mid afternoon before water is restored. A water tanker is on its way out to the school where people will be able to fill their containers until the water comes back on. We apologise for any inconvenience.
