Great Lake Centre retains four star Qualmark rating
3 March 2015
Taupo's Great Lake Centre has retained its four star Qualmark rating, reaffirming its position as a quality venue.
Qualmark is New Zealand's tourism quality assurance organisation that aims to makes it easy for travellers to select high quality places to stay, things to do, and ways to get around.
The four star rating means the Great Lake Centre can continue to carry the Qualmark symbol on its promotional material and indicates it is held in high regard within corporate conferencing circles.
Taupo District Council's policy and operations manager Gareth Green said confirmation of the rating was received following a visit to the site by Qualmark assessors.
The team takes a lot of pride in ensuring a quality venue is provided for both locals and visitors and confirmation of the four star rating is testament to the work they do, he said.
