Mangakino water upgrade

In order to carry out repairs to pipework feeding the Mangakino water treatment plant, we will be shutting down the intake to the plant on Tuesday July 24 and Wednesday July 25.

The reservoir has the capacity to provide four day's supply at current usage however, and we will have tankers on standby should there be any unusual demand or if delays are experienced in the repair works.

While we are not expecting this to affect residents' water supplies, we ask that you please be conscious of your water use during this period.
