Wharewaka Point closed to vehicles

The vehicle access to the lakefront at Wharewaka Point will be closed from tonight to allow development of the pathway between where the Lions Walk ends and the pathway to Five Mile Bay begins.

The closure is to allow preparation work to take place before work begins on building the path toward the end of the month. Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to access the area.
