- Shorten showers
- Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth or shaving
- Only run your washing machine or dishwasher when they’re full
- If it's yellow, let it mellow!

2pm Monday 13 June
Calling all residents in Hatepe and Waihaha. We've had an update from our busy water team who has been out checking our water schemes, following the heavy rain across our district.
Residents in Hatepe are asked to please conserve water as much as possible as the water supply intake is currently shut off here, after being affected by the heavy rain. Please be really mindful of your water use around the house.
On the other side of the lake, flooding has also affected our ability to check the Waihaha water supply which is currently off after also being affected by the heavy rain. While we know that most of this community is on tank supply, if you are on this rural scheme and you are experiencing any problems, we have a water tanker at the Tihoi Tavern for anyone that wants to bring a container to fill up.
Thanks everyone. If you have any concerns, please call our customer service centre on 07 376 0899.
