Change to Annual Plan 2022-23 adoption date
Taupō District Council has postponed the adoption of its Annual Plan 2022-23 to next month.
The Annual Plan sets out the projects that Council will carry out, the services that will be delivered and how they will be delivered over the next 12 months. It was expected to be adopted on 28 June.
Taupō District Council chief executive officer Gareth Green said that illness among key members of the Annual Plan project team has hit hard at a crucial time of the year when they were working on information required for the plan.
“This has caused an unavoidable delay in preparing the Annual Plan. We have no choice but to put off adopting it until July.”
A special Council meeting will be held as soon as possible in July to adopt the Annual Plan.
