Easter opening hours at council facilities

Here’s a snapshot of the opening hours at our facilities over the Easter break.
Customer and Visitor Information Centres in Taupō and Tūrangi:
- Good Friday: 10am-1pm
- Saturday: 10am-1pm
- Easter Sunday: closed
- Easter Monday: 10am-1pm
The Mangakino customer service centre will be closed over the long weekend.
Taupō District Libraries
- All libraries are closed on Good Friday, Sunday and Easter Monday.
- Normal opening hours apply on Saturday at both Taupō and Tūrangi libraries.
Taupō Museum
- The museum is closed on Good Friday, but otherwise open every day over the long weekend between 10am and 4.30pm.
Landfill and transfer stations
- All facilities around the district are closed for the day on Good Friday. Our usual public holiday opening hours will apply on Easter Monday. Find out more at www.taupodc.govt.nz/rubbish
Tūrangi Turtle Pools
- Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 6pm
- Easter Monday: 8.30am to 5pm
AC Baths
- Open every day over the long weekend from 7am-7pm
Taupō Rockwall
- Closed Good Friday. Open Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday 10am-3pm.
