108th Anzac Day services: we shall remember them

All are invited to attend Anzac services and parades throughout the Taupō District on Tuesday 25 April 2023.

There will be no mid-morning Taupō Civic Service this year, but a combined service with the Dawn Service.

Some transport is available for elderly and disabled ex-service people and their families. Enquiries should be made to the Taupō RSA phone 07 378 7476. Medals and decorations may be worn.

TAUPŌ

• 6am - Combined Dawn/Civic Service. Present to the parade marshall Warrant Officer Class Two [WO2] Kelly Carter [from OCS] at GLC carpark at 5.40am to march from Story Place to the Great Lake Centre, Tongariro Street, Taupō.
• Taupō youth groups are invited to participate in the parade wearing full uniform.
• 9am - Cemetery Parade - RSA section, Taupō Cemetery, Rickit Street.

SOUTHERN LAKE TAUPŌ

• 6am - Dawn Parade at Waihi
• 10am - Cemetery Parade - Tūrangi Services Cemetery, 28 Aonini Road.
• 10.50am - Civic Service. Present to the parade marshall in Tūrangi town centre to march to the Tokaanu-Tūrangi and Districts RSA for an 11am service.

MANGAKINO

• 10.15am - Cemetery Civic Service - RSA cemetery, Lake Road.
• 11am - Civic Service - Mangakino District Services and Citizens Club, Wairenga Road.

OMORI

• 5pm - Sunset Service - Omori Kuratau Community Hall, 220 Omori Road, Omori.
