Later closing times for Turtle Pools

If you like to get in a late-afternoon or early-evening swim during the week, we’ve got great news, with the Tūrangi Turtle Pools to close a little later on weekdays.

Come along for an after-work swim, with the pools now closing at 7.30pm on Tuesday, and 6pm every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The opening hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will continue to be 12 noon to 6pm.

Thanks to the community for your patience while an earlier closing time was temporarily in place. The team at the pools is stoked to have a full quota of lifeguards back on board and look forward to seeing everyone so come on down. Kia manahau (enjoy)!

Opening hours at a glance:

• Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 8.30am to 6pm
• Tuesday: 8.30am to 7.30pm
• Friday and weekends: Midday to 6pm, or 10am to 6pm during school holidays
