Leisure pool at AC Baths temporarily closed

We were really hoping to have the leisure pool back up and running by Wednesday but unfortunately we have found a crack in a pipe that runs under the bombing zone island that urgently needs to be sorted. We are working as fast we can to fix the problem, but we want to make sure that we do it right.

The leisure pool and private pools will reopen on Saturday 16 December.

In the meantime, the indoor and outdoor lane pools are still open. Aqua Fitness and swim school classes are running as normal.

Tuesday 12 December

The AC Baths leisure pool has been temporarily closed due to a malfunction with a pool liner.

Other pools remain open as usual, including the indoor and outdoor lane pools and learn to swim pool and there is no change to the opening hours.

Unfortunately, the private pools are also closed as the temperature controls for these pools are impacted by the leisure pool closure.

Swim School classes will continue as normal, as will Aqua Deep classes. Aqua Shallow classes will be temporarily relocated to the outdoor 25m pool. For the Aqua Shallow participants, please be aware this pool is a little cooler than the leisure pool where the classes normally take place.

At this stage, we expect to complete repair work and reopen the leisure pool (and private pools) on Wednesday 13 December.
