On Sunday 31 December 2023, Taupō District Council in partnership with Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board and Temple Productions will be holding its annual New Year’s Eve Big Bang Fireworks Display at Tapuaeharuru, Roberts Street.
The event runs from 6.30pm to midnight with family friendly activities, mini bang fireworks at 10pm, and entertainment, food vendors, live music and firework displays.
For everyone's safety, Roberts Street will be closed from 7am on Sunday 31 December and will reopen at 2am on Monday 1 January 2024.
