The Design Your Own Helmet competition winners have been announced!
Mount Tauhara, Lake Taupō, and beautiful Mangakino were just some of the inspirations for the 324 entries in the competition. The five winners, chosen for their unique creative flare, will have their designs professionally airbrushed onto a cycle helmet.
Congratulations to the winners:
- Zendaya Jenner, 6, from Hilltop School (Age 5 to 6 category)
- Mila, 8, from Taupō Primary School (Age 7 to 8 category)
- Suji Bramall, 10, from St Patrick's Catholic School, Taupō (Age 9 to 10 category)
- Honey Rata-Hurst, 12, from Mangakino School (Age 11 to 12 category)
- George Fisher, 11, who is home-schooled (Judges’ Choice Winner)
