From Monday 22 July we are upgrading the unsealed section of Lake Road adjacent to Lake Maraetai.
The road will be closed (as shown in red on the map below) to vehicles for up to two weeks.
- Tree maintenance will begin on Monday in preparation of upgrading the road to improve safety and comfort for all users.
- During this time there is no vehicle access.
- The Waikato River trail is still open to pedestrians to walk dogs and enjoy the beautiful Mangakino scenery.
