Council opening hours and services over Labour weekend

Another long weekend has arrived! Here are a few quick reminders about our opening hours and services on Labour Day, Monday 28 October:

• Kerbside rubbish and recycling collections will be running as normal. So if Monday is your pickup day please make sure everything is kerbside by 7.30am as usual.
• Our Customer and Visitor Information Centres in Taupō and Tūrangi will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10am to 1pm. The Mangakino Customer Service Centre is closed over the long weekend.
• Landfill and transfer stations will be open (with the exception of Kinloch Transfer Station which is closed on Monday). Opening hours can be found at www.taupo.govt.nz/rubbish.
• All of our libraries will be closed for the day on Monday. Taupō and Tūrangi libraries will be open on Saturday as usual.
• Taupō Museum will be open from 10am to 4.30pm every day over the long weekend.
