Community grants now open for applications

Got a project, activity, or event coming up that could do with some financial support? Apply for a community grant through Taupō District Council.

Don’t miss out on this funding round that's now open, with applications closing on Monday 31 March at 4.30pm.

• Creative Communities Scheme: This scheme is a partnership between Creative New Zealand and local authorities that helps fund local art projects that increase the range, diversity, and participation of art and culture.
• Waste minimisation fund: This fund provides individuals, community groups and organisations funding for initiatives that reduce waste generation, encourage reuse and recovery of materials, and raise awareness around waste.
• Community grants: Apply for funding for your community initiative through our ward-based community grants. Funding is distributed by local representative groups or grant distribution committees. Applicants can apply for a maximum of $5000 per funding round.
