BBQ's on the lakefront reserves
For the enjoyment of our community and visitors we have free electric BBQ's located on lakefront reserves in the following locations:
- Hot Water Beach on Lake Terrace
- Two Mile Bay Reserve (near the boat ramp)
- Three Mile Bay, between Wharewaka Reserve and Secombe Park
- Wharewaka Reserve (near the playground)
- Acacia Bay
- Kinloch
- Mangakino Lakefront Reserve on Lake Road
All of the BBQ's are free of charge and will function for 20 minute intervals at the push of a button.
They are easy to use and are cleaned at least once a day by our sanitation staff and steam-cleaned monthly.
To ensure everyone can benefit from the facilities, people are requested to leave the BBQ's in a tidy state after use.
