Creative Taupō
Creative Taupō supports the idea that everyone in the community has the right to participate in artistic and cultural activities.
Creative Taupō assists in providing equal access for everyone in the community to the resources, advice, support and finance needed to enable their artistic and cultural expressions to become a reality. Creative Taupō can determine its own priorities, objectives and processes in arts and cultural development.
Creative Taupō receives funding from Taupō District Council and Creative New Zealand which is allocated, according to guidelines, to groups and individuals who apply in funding rounds.
Creative Taupō is a voluntary organisation with 10 members who are elected at the annual general meeting. Taupō District Council also appoints three members.
