All you need to know about opening hours over Easter

The Easter Bunny is on the way and we have a snapshot of the opening hours at our facilities over the Easter long weekend.
Customer and Visitor Information Centres in Taupō and Tūrangi
- Good Friday: open 10am to 1pm
- Saturday: open 10am to 1pm
- Easter Sunday: closed
- Easter Monday: open 10am to 1pm
- Remember you can call us any time on 07 376 0899
The Mangakino customer service centre will be closed over the long weekend.
Landfill and transfer stations
- All facilities throughout the Taupō District are closed on Good Friday
- The usual public holiday opening hours will apply on Easter Monday
- A reminder there are no kerbside rubbish or recycling collections on Good Friday. If Friday is your usual collection day, everything will be collected one day earlier, on Thursday 17 April. Kerbside collection services will run as usual on Easter Monday.

Taupō District Libraries
- All libraries are closed on Good Friday, Sunday and Easter Monday
- Normal opening hours apply on Saturday at both Taupō and Tūrangi libraries

Taupō Museum
- The museum is closed on Good Friday, but otherwise open every day over the long weekend between 10am and 4.30pm

Tūrangi Turtle Pools
- Easter Friday, Saturday and Sunday: open 10am to 6pm
- Easter Monday: open 8.30am to 6pm

AC Baths
- Open every day over the long weekend from 7am to 7pm

Taupō Rockwall and Taupō Event Centre
- The Rockwall and event centre stadium remain closed while work to upgrade the stadium floor is nearing completion.
- The facilities will reopen on Monday 5 May.
