Parking is free in Taupo's town centre but there are often time limits.
Free all day parking is also available in the following areas:
- Heuheu St (adjacent to BP) approx. 145 spaces
- Taniwha St (adjacent to Rebel Sport) approx. 73 spaces
- Robert St (adjacent to Burger King) approx. 60 spaces
- Tuwharetoa St (adjacent to Farmers and Central Motor Group) approx. 90 spaces.
Time limit parks are enforced. Spaces are available for 15, 30, 60, 120 or 150 minutes and are well sign posted. Please do adhere to these times as a consideration to other shoppers who wish to access the town centre.
