Our Community Funding Policy 2024 guides how we make decisions and distribute Council funded community grants.
Council set the overall budget allocated to the community funding programme through the Long-term Plan (LTP) and following consultation with the community.
Through this process, Elected Members determine the share of the overall budget to be allocated to each of the three funds (Community Grant Fund, Accelerator Fund, Strategic Partnership Fund), and the maximum funds that can be granted to a community group, organisation or individual.
