Meet the candidates events
Tūrangi - 20 September
Amplify is hosting a meet the candidates evening in Tūrangi where members of the public can hear from candidates for the Mayoralty, Tūrangi-Tongariro Ward and newly created Māori Ward, Te Papamārearea.
The evening will start with a brief introduction from each of the candidates, followed by a series of questions for candidates to answer. Should time permit, questions from the floor will be taken.
Members of the public are invited to submit questions in advance by email to admin@taupo.biz.

Taupō - 15 September
Towncentre Taupō (TCT) & Taupō Business Chamber are hosting a Meet the Candidates event at the Great Lake Centre on Thursday 15 September.
While the function is for Towncentre Taupō & Taupō Business Chamber members only, a livestream of the event will be available for everyone to watch here.

Taupō - 5 September
Lake Taupō Rotary is hosting a meet the candidates evening where members of the public can hear from candidates for the Mayoralty, Taupō Ward and newly created Māori Ward, Te Papamārearea.
Candidates will have a variety of prepared questions to answer while members of the public are invited to hand in questions as they enter the theatre which will be considered for inclusion in the programme. Time will be allowed for some questions to be taken from the floor.
Because of the time constraints with such a large number of candidates, members of the public are invited to submit questions in advance to the moderator for the meeting by email to info@laketauporotary.org.nz
