Pihanga Reserve playground upgrade
Project overview
Pihanga Reserve playground is getting four new pieces of play equipment for the community to enjoy.
Stepping logs, a zig zag walk, a rope bridge and a climbing net will soon complement the existing playground equipment. A synthetic safety surfacing will also be installed under the existing playground and new climbing net area.
To install the new equipment safely, the playground will be closed to the public from Thursday, January 28 until Thursday, February 18.
Thanks for your patience during this time and apologies for any inconvenience caused. The new play equipment will be a great addition to the neighbourhood reserve.
The project is expected to cost $140,000 and was included as part of the Long-term Plan 2018-28.
